Reading Specialist

Education:

I hold a BA in English and Secondary Education from Cedar Crest College and an MEd in Reading from Kutztown University.  I have taken additional graduate courses at Penn State University, Gratz College, and St. Joseph’s University.

Professional Experience:

I began my career teaching English/Language Arts at Trexler Middle School in Allentown School District in 1985.  After teaching at Trexler for three years, I took nine years off to raise my children.  Once they were in school, I returned to teaching.  I spent my first year back developing an Instructional Support Program at Easton Middle School in the Easton Area School District.  I came to the Southern Lehigh School District in 1998 as the Reading Specialist for Liberty Bell and Lower Milford Elementary Schools.  In 2001, I became the full time Reading Specialist at Liberty Bell.
