A Walk to Believe 5k

Some of the 7th grade Academic Literacy students who read the book Believe participated in a 5K on Sunday, June 5, at Rutgers Stadium. Money was raised for paralysis research in honor of Eric LeGrand, A former Rutgers player who was paralyzed in a game in 2010. Students had a chance to meet and talk with Eric and his mom and tell them how inspirational their story is for all of us. Eric couldn't believe we brought a bus full of kids from PA! Despite the rain, all had a great time!
