Math Super Bowl

  • 7th grade students in Ms. Grube’s and Mr. Strobl’s Math classes examined the economic impact of television advertising during the Super Bowl. Students gathered in the Voices Café and calculated the percent of change of the cost of a 30-second spot from 1967 (the year of the first Super Bowl) to this years’ game. Students also created proportions calculating the cost per second of advertisements from past Super Bowls.
