Students Get a Taste of Tea and Culture

An opportunity arose for an interdisciplinary experience led by our visiting teachers from Uruguay connecting the food and culture of Uruguay between 8th grade Spanish classes and 7th grade FCS classes. Students learned a little about the culture, customs and food of Uruguay. Some students even had the chance to sample Mate tea, which is sipped during social occasions in Uruguay. A memorable time was had by all.
