Curriculum
Students have Library once every five day cycle for 45 minutes. Kindergarten has Library for 30 minutes. The Library curriculum supports the other curriculum areas such as reading, science and social studies as well as teaching students research skills and strategies using both print and digital sources. Students are taught skills to become knowledge seeking, information literate lifelong learners. An information literate student can recognize the need for information, identify and locate information sources, evaluate the quality of that information and organize and use that information effectively.
